Elementary STEAM K–7 Applications:

Kindergarten at Brookside: STEAM Kindergarten Registration at Brookside opens on January 14^th.  All Kindergarten registrations must be received by January 25^th.

Grades 1 – 7 at Brookside: STEAM Grade 1 -7 Registration at Brookside is ongoing, but due to limited seats, all registrations will be put on a waitlist and reviewed as space becomes available.

Secondary STEAM & STEAMX Applicants:

All parents or guardians wanting to apply for STEAM and STEAM X must attend one of the two informational intake meetings for prospective students.

• STEAM & STEAMX informational intake meeting January 23 at 7:00 pm at DEC
• STEAM & STEAMX informational intake meeting January 31 at 7:00 pm at DEC

STEAM Registration is ongoing, but due to limited seats, all registrations will be put on a waitlist and reviewed as space becomes available. For this coming year STEAM 10 applications will only be received from current STEAM 9 students

All Grade 7 STEAM students at Brookside, will be given priority seating in the process, but must attend one of the intake sessions as well.

All successful applicants for STEAM will be contacted after spring break.

Complete applications consist of the following:

1. A completed Literacy and Numeracy Assessment
2. Two Confidential References
3. Two Recent Report Cards
4. Letter of Interest
5. Portfolio of Learning

The Literacy & Numeracy Assessment dates are:  February 19^{th  &} February 21^st from 3:30 – 4:30 at DEC

Information about the supporting documents will be emailed to you once you apply online.

Complete STEAMX application packages are due by 4:00 pm on February 28, 2019

All successful applicants for STEAMX will be contacted by mid-April
