In response to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases due to the emergence of the more transmissible Omicron variant, students are reminded to:

1. Complete a Daily Health Check (eg: via the K-12 Health Check app at https://www.k12dailycheck.gov.bc.ca/healthcheck?execution=e1s1 ) prior to coming to school
2. Stay home if unwell
3. Sanitize hands upon entering the building
4. Wear masks at all times while inside the building, as per Provincial Health Orders. * If mask exemption applies, please notify teacher/administrator in advance*

In accordance with Provincial Health Orders for K-12 schools, preventative measures have been put in place at the school level in order to ensure the safety of students and staff. These include:

• Maximizing space between people
• Minimizing crowding and mixing
• Promoting frequent hand sanitizing
• Holding virtual meetings, gatherings and events
• Limiting visitor access

• Cleaning and disinfection of high touch surfaces as needed
