The Surrey School District does NOT insure student accidents.  Every year parents are offered the opportunity to purchase student accident insurance through a private insurer.

For less than 60 cents a day you can buy accident insurance that includes dental, eyewear and medical benefits.  Your child is covered 365 days a year for one low payment.  

If you already have medical and / or dental insurance this coverage will contribute towards deductibles and co-insurance payments.

For your convenience Surrey Schools has made available information on two student accident programs, that provide families the opportunity to voluntarily purchase private accident insurance for as little at $13 for a year.  The two programs are Insure My Kids and Study Insured Student Accident.  Both companies offer online purchase and have provided access to applications, claims forms and full plan information.   Please visit Insuremykids.com or studyinsuredstudentaccident for further details.
